Bible-verses To Soothe Your Soul
Here are some of the Bible-verses that helped me the most. (There's nothing like being desperate to bring God's word to life!) If one passage speaks to you, keep coming back to it. Don't be in a hurry to find something new. We live in a consumer-driven society, that chases the illusion that more is the key to our satisfaction. Resist the urge to turn your spiritual life into a quest for more. Rather, allow God's life to continue to flow through these verses to fill you over and over. Don't press your heart to move on. I've spent months, even sometimes a whole year praying the same 2 verses. Sure, other Bible verses are still good to read, but don't disconnect from the ones that minister the most to you. Stick close to what works, trusting that God is giving you what you need to move on.
(P.S. No, I don't usually hyphenate Bible-verses, but it seems to make the search engines happy. Sorry for the poor grammar.)

Answer me quickly, O Lord;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
